Chester Zoo is only a couple of miles from Chester Station.
During peak periods there is a free shuttle bus that operates
between the zoo and Chester railway station. When there is no
shuttle, either take a taxi to the Zoo (about 2 miles) or free City
Rail Link bus to the City Centre (every few minutes) and the First
Bus service No. 1 from Chester Bus Exchange to Zoo Main Entrance
(every 20 minutes Monday - Saturday, every 30 minutes Bank Holidays
and every hour on Sundays).
