Visit glorious Chiswick House, inspired by the admired architect
Andrea Palladio and built by the third Earl of Burlington (1694-
1753). The House contains a rich collection of paintings and is
surrounded by Classical gardens with statuary and half hidden
temples.

Accessible facilities...
There is a range of facilities to help visitors including adapted
toilets and access ramps. Access to the house is via a gravel court
yard. There is one step at the entrance but ramps are available.
Ground floor is all on the level; first floor is reached via spiral
staircase or portico steps. Weather permitting, a stair climber is
available to the first floor. Seats are provided in video room,
Dome Saloon and Lower Tribune. One wheelchair is available in
house. Access to grounds: level access on tarmac or gravel paths,
except for Terrace Walk owing to gradient. Benches provided. Audio
tour with hearing loop included in admission price. Visitors to
cellars should be accompanied; steep steps and low ceilings.
