Windsor Castle is one of three official residences of The Queen and has been home to the Sovereign for over 900 years. The Castle is the largest inhabited castle in the world and the oldest in continuous occupation.
Covering an area of 26 acres, the Castle includes the magnificent State Apartments, furnished with treasures from the Royal Collection, and St George's Chapel, one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in England. Among the highlights of a visit to Windsor is Queen Mary's Dolls' House, a masterpiece in miniature and the most famous dolls' house in the world.
New for this year is a special exhibition to celebrate the 60th birthday of The Prince of Wales. Bringing together photographs, books, charming family mementoes and some of His Royal Highness's own watercolours, the display traces Prince Charles's life from his earliest years to the present day.
